How it works.

  • For The first time user, Register and continue to the Main Menu
  • Expand the Costing node (+ sign)
  • Always click on Project Management first
  • Add or Select an existing Project name from the dropdownlist
  • Now go back to your Main Menu (click on the folder icon with the little green arrow in the top lefthand column)
  • Expand the General node
  • Follow the sequence of options, the first TWO options are compulsory, Openings and Site Esthablishment are optional
  • Expand the Openings node and again follow the options
  • The options under General can be repeated at any time
  • Now start to follow the Trade options sequencially
  • For Structural related trade results the above points are compulsory, until all measurements captured completely.
  • You can update or delete any data per trade that was captured previously, per page
  • Your Results are generated, depending on the options you've chosen, for that trade, per page
  • To see the results, go back to the Main Menu
  • Expand the Reports node
  • Per category per trade, see the Costs and quantities, for Material, Labor, Plant and Equipment and Subcontracting.

User level overview

  • All pages have the same pattern of functionality
  • From the left column of the webpage, the middle column and the right column, the same screen layout and functionality applies.
  • In the left column, the system variables, that you can update, per Trade page.
  • Below the above, in some trades, User variables that can change, will be displayed, again depending on the trade input options, that was exercised in the middle column
  • In the top of the middle column, you can add Items for that Trade, that was not neccessarily part of your design specification, for that specific Trade
  • Below that, the primary option Per Trade, Yes or No. Take Note, in some cases, for some trades, the page can be saved, even if the option is No. If there is any quantity data for that trade, it will be reflected in the results for that report, on that page and also in your summarised Reports
  • The No option will delete all information generated, for that Trade, if the Yes option was exercised previously
  • Yes will generate basic information with system default values, if applicable to that trade
  • You can subcontract the trade, with a provisional sum option, if Yes.
  • Depending on the trade, more user input will be required.
  • In the bottom part of the middle column, all pages have immediate results for that trade, when saving the page
  • All data will be saved to remote storage, when you click the Save option, for that page
  • In the righthand column, you can navigate from any trade webpage to another trade webpage, when needed, using the trade menu options, of the current webpage.
  • You can also right-click on the Trade option and open that Trade page in a new browser page tab.
  • In the bottom of the righthand column, at anytime per trade, the option is there, to make a note, for later reference or as a reminder.

  • Please take note that this is a demo login ID and that this data could be randomly updated at anytime
  • Feel free to step thru the Main Menu and navigate around
  • Click the Demo Menu link below, you will be signed in with a demo user ID
  • Expand the "Costing" Node, click on Project Management, from the projects dropdownlist, please select "firstOne" as the project that you want to update and to see the reports for
  • Click OK when prompted about dates.
  • Click on the folder with the little green arrow at top of left column on your screen, to go back to the main menu.
  • On the main menu, expand the Reports node and select which report you want to browse.

For the Consumer

  • Select Material items per Trade
  • Add quantities per item
  • Get intermediate priced quotation for acceptance
  • Add billing and shipping information
  • Add delivery date(s) and any T&C's
  • Generate and accept final quote
  • Approve the requisition
  • Approve and submit purchase order
  • Receive notification from supplier for purchase order
  • Make Payments
  • Receive goods
  • Confirm goods received and make final payment
  • Receive receipt and close order.
  • Management information

For the Supplier

  • Upload selected material item prices in a stocklist format
  • Maintain stocklist.
  • Place items on special.
  • Receive a purchase order.
  • Start a sales order process.
  • Generate an Invoice.
  • Make out a delivery note and deliver.
  • Make out a Receipt and submit.
  • Receive final payment.
  • Close order.
  • Management information.

Guaranties, Liabilities and Disclaimers:

  • SFCS Software will do all in their ability to make sure, that the data on which the calculated results are based, are at least market-related and comparable to what you as the subscriber, might source for yourself, by getting in your car, go to the shop and look for yourself or sitting down and start to make phone calls, to suppliers of material, labour or plant and equipment.
  • You WILL have "working documents" and a basis, too work from, when you want to start with your building project
  • The end and reporting results must be seen as Estimations ONLY, that depends on the accuracy of current data AVAILABLE to SFCS Software and the CORRECTNESS of your Input.
  • No Results Will Be guaranteed as 100% accurate, due to above possibilities.
  • Use as Cost Guideline and Not to be used as your final Building costs.
